Dhow Dalma race attracts 100 boats
Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Sports Council will be hosting the inaugural 60ft Dhow Dalma Race on April 22 in an effort to keep the culture and tradition of sailing intact in the UAE. Around 100 boats and 3000 sailors will be taking part in the 80 sea mile (125km) race which will start from the Dalma Island and touch islands like Ghasha, Um Al Kurkum, Al Fatayer, Al Bazam, Marwih, Jananah and finish
