Madrid: Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid side will host Barcelona at the Vicente Caredon Stadium today in their manager’s 300th game at the club.
Though Simeone’s team side is yet to beat Barcelona in domestic competition, they have beaten the Catalan giants twice in the last three seasons to reach the Champions League semi-finals.
Simeone also helped Atletico win the La Liga in 2013-14. Simeone’s stay at Atletico has seen the team win 187 matches, draw 61 and lose 51 in his 299 games in charge.
Simeone will be keen to better his record against the star-studded Catan side tonight.
